Salvation Army Volunteer Bellringing
Please note, this event has expired.
The Salvation Army has served Napa County since 1884. One of the ways The Salvation Army supports the client services we provide is by ringing bells at the iconic red kettles around town from Thanksgiving week through Christmas Eve. Volunteer Today!
Churches, businesses, families, friends, individuals are needed to volunteer for bellringing this Christmas.
How it works:
- Your church, service club, business, family or group of friends adopts a location for one day – from November 19 to December 24
- One to Four people ring bells at a time
- Individuals or small groups within your organization or business ring in 1 or 2 hour shifts throughout the day
- The Salvation Army delivers the kettle, bells and aprons to the store and picks them

These are general times, the actual time will be communicated to you after selecting a date and location so that you know the times when the driver is at that location on the route. We will also have some shorter “event” kettles around the county and times for those will vary.
