In partnership with Rianda House Senior Activity Center, St. Helena Historical Society, and St. Helena Public Library

Join us for two presentations about the Bracero Program in the Napa Valley.

Then first presentation will take place at 3 pm at Rianda House Senior Activity Center-  Hidden Stories:  Braceros and the Homefront in Napa Valley during World War II.  Presenters will discuss how Mexican farm workers helped save Napa Valley agriculture and became the backbone of the wine industry. Come share your stories if you met Braceros living and working in Napa Valley during that time!

The second presentation will be at 5pm at the Library-  Uncovering Latino Legacy in the Napa Valley. Come to learn how Napa Valley College students are helping uncover a forgotten period of Napa Valley history and shining a light on the contributions of Mexican immigrants and their families to the prosperity and wellbeing of this place we call home.
