WILD St. Helena: Living with Mountain Lions

Presented by Zara McDonald, Felidae Conservation Fund

In partnership with Friends & Foundation, St. Helena Public Library

Mountain lions (aka pumas and cougars) are a keystone predator and play an important role in the health of our ecosystem. However, expansion of human populations has caused increased encounters and conflicts between humans and mountain lions, and tensions are growing in our local communities. Join Felidae President, Zara McDonald, for a discussion of mountain lion history, ecology, and the challenges of sharing habitat with mountain lions. Learn essential tips for living without fear of these magnificent animals. Learn more at www.FelidaeFund.org.
