    The UC Master Gardeners of Napa County and the UC Master Food Preservers invite the community to join them for a public workshop, “Food Preserving”. This workshop will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the UCCE Meeting Room, 1710 Soscol Avenue in Napa.

    Napa County UC Master Gardeners welcome the UC Master Food Preservers who will teach this course. Canning, freezing, and drying are the most basic food preservation methods. Master Food Preservers will provide the most up-to-date reliable information on these 3 basic methods, equipment, some easy recipes, and potential hazards to avoid. Get tips and see demonstrations from experienced preservers to learn the best ways to preserve the quality of your fruits and vegetables.

    Registration is required, space is limited. There is a charge of $5/person. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless class is cancelled.
